Dalmally Station

Heartfelt by Liz moved to Dalmally Station, in North Argyll in 2012.

Much ongoing restorative work happens daily at the building and the yard. The building had been derelict for more than 30 years. Slowly this beautiful building is being revealed

It truly is a working station .. although most of the trains are rather more modern than this :

We are looking forward to learning and sharing with you more of the history of the station that we are discovering. Expect lots of updates  throughout 2016. We will be gathering an archive for visitors too.

To come and visit you can either hop on the train on the Glasgow to Oban West Highland line – or drive along the Tyndrum to Oban road to Dalmally, taking either of the roads into the village, following the British Rail signs into the station car park.

We really are the station building. Park and come on to the platform,
