The course will cover
- Collection and preparation of the plant material
- Imprint dyeing basics on paper and on fabric
- How to create paints from natural dyes
- Getting repeatable results from your chosen specimen
There will be some of the dyeing process done outdoors on the covered verandas and two indoor classrooms.

The setting of this venue within the stunning Oakwood forest of the some of the most beautiful coastline of Scotland is part of the reason but the excellent home cooking and happy family environment of the Campbell’s custom built facilities allows for a great setting for this event at the Ariundle Centre
Kate and her husband John run a large croft with many sheep. Kate spins and creates lots of beautiful knitwear with her own wool and has hosted workshops on textiles at the venue for many years.
A quality licence restaurant and tea room open all year round that serves fresh, seasonal Scottish food. Glorious views and a bright open space.
