Argyll is a very beautiful place. It has been a very wet summer and the grass has grown along with the weeds but it has made the growth lush for all the creatures that live here. Superb for natural plant dyeing that we have been doing lots of this past month.
Dhuey the orphan lamb has been hanging out in the henhouse as the hens don’t use it …they prefer the rabbit hutch in the compound ! the rabbit Cobalt ? well he is having a lovely time in the freedom of the huge space of the compound and indeed shelters in his dry area beneath where the hens sleep.
There is life once more at Dalmally Railway Station and it is incredible how each interconnect and bring a range of insects , birds and wildlife that had gone from this barren space.
The growth goes beyond the stone confines of the restoration of the station. It is a delight and an honour to be part of that positive life flow
